課程目標 |
資訊檢索一直是本系的核心課程，網際網路（全球資訊網路）逐漸普及後， 資訊檢索課題更形重要。本課程簡介資訊檢索技術的原理與最新的進展， 並透過檢索軟體的安裝與操作，讓學生瞭解檢索引擎的特性， 使學生具備衡量、評估檢索系統的能力，掌握檢索系統的未來發展方向， 發揮檢索系統的功能，進行有效的資訊檢索。 |

Introduction: backgrounds, coverages, objectives, and schedules Examples and Comparisons: Web search engines, OPACs, full- text databases (CD-ROM), ... Basic data structures and algorithms: lists, trees, hashes, ... Text manipulation: scanning, matching, compression, encryption, stemming, parsing, stop lists, ... Query models: Boolean, ranking, fuzzy search, relevance feedback, ... Retrieval models: Boolean, vector space, probability, ...
